I have been creating images since 1961, either as a professional or a serious amateur. As a professional, I was an Air Force news photographer, then a daily newspaper photographer, and lastly a portrait studio owner. In more recent years I have turned to Fine Art Photography and freelancing combined with writing to support my endeavors. I currently live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
For many years I spent long and joy filled hours in my darkroom creating black and
white prints following the teachings of Ansel Adams. With the advent of digital
photography, my wet sink has now gone dry, my enlarger is dismantled, and my RZ-
I now process my images using Photoshop CS3, but there will always be a sentimental spot in my heart for the darkroom. In addition to using Photoshop, I use a Wacom tablet to process select images with Corel Painter X™.
